Satoh Bull S-630D w Great Bend Front Loader problems
I have a Satoh Bull that is equipped with a Great Bend 2030 Front Loader. The front loader started to be slow to operate when the tempreature started to turn cold. Usually if I let the tractor warm up suffiecently it would eventually work, however lately that does not seem to work. My 3-point hyd. work find regardless of the temperature, thus I assume the pump is fine. The line for the front loader comes off of the pump, up to the lever/valve assembly then down into a "Modular Controls, Model #PFRI-10-F-6T-1.5" box, then back to the return on the side of the transimision case. Any suggestions are welcome? Does anyone know what the Modular Controls box does, or how I can get in touch with them (Vila Park, Ill)?
Thanks in advance.

Satoh Bull S-630D w Great Bend Front Loader problems
Hydraulic systems that use one open center pump to work the loader and the 3pt are always somewhat of a compromise. The problem is that there has to be some way to select where the fluid is to go. It can either be manually - which is a pain to do every time...... or it could be an automatic priority valve type - which ends up sending fluid several places at once and therefore makes some of the systems work slowly.
From what you say, I suspect that "modular control box". fits what I've written above. Does it have any type of knob or lever that you throw to use the loader vs the 3pt, or is it the automatic priority valve type? Those automatic types do need service from time to time and you would never know it unless you measure the return flow and find that it is larger than it needs to be. Hopefully the modular control came from GB, because they are very responsive to customers who contact them. If the modular control is what I think it is, it would be universal in function and could be recalibrated by most any hydraulic repair shop.
